*Scoring will be done in Three Divisions:  Communities of 0 - 8 years, 9-17 and communities that are 18-26 and over property age. Judging for categories:  Bronze- up to 79;   Silver- 80-89; Gold- 90-97;  Platinum- 98-100 (only one Platinum winner for each of the three divisions).    Get involved and get some wonderful recognition for your community.  Everyone who participates in the Landscape Award Competition is a winner.  We hope that you will sign up your community today.  The committee has added several new ways to win this year. See the Landscape Information Sheet.

Criteria:

Please use the following criteria to prepare your property this year:

Front Entrance/Office Area

·            Color Coordination

·            Selection of Plants (Common or Unusual)

·            Imperfections (weeds, or dead-heading, etc.)

The Rest of the Community

·            Shrubs pruned properly

·            Beds edged, lawns mowed and relatively weed free

·          Color at key points throughout community (around pool, key corners, etc)

·          Imperfections (weeds in beds, dead trees or limbs, dead shrubs, etc.)

Total attractiveness of the entire community

The scores from previous years will be used to compare for overall curb appeal and improvements, for those who have participated in the past.

 

 Properties should use the information to make improvements in areas where needed.
