The 2010 Landscape Beautification Project

Yes, It’s That Glorious Blooming Time Again- Register Today!

See the registration form on the other side of this flyer

New categories were added last year, offering more opportunities for our participating communities to win in the annual spring time Landscape Beautification Project.  Think your community is too old or doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that some of the newer communities have?  Well, then you’d be surprised! It is about recognizing those properties who have taken strides to present their communities to their residents and the city at large in a way that is welcoming, colorful, and well groomed.  You get expert advice for free just for participating! Please register your property. It’s FREE!

Get ready for another great year?  Annually, the Savannah Apartment Association sponsors the Landscape Beautification Project.  The Association hopes that all of the communities in our city will be inspired by the pride shown by Association members in the appearance of their properties. We encourage everyone to get involved.  You can’t lose with this one. When we beautify our communities, everyone is a winner!  The awards and certificates will be presented at the July Meeting which will be our 31st anniversary and a very special event.  You will want to be in that picture.  You are planting for the season anyway, why not participate and win recognition for your community.

Mr. Robert Nadel, Klean Karpets, and Mr. Ed Poenicke, retired horticulturist from the Chatham County Extension Service, will handle the judging and scoring for all the apartment communities that participate.  This is a great opportunity to beautify your community and get some professional advice concerning your property’s lawn and landscaping for free.  The actual evaluation of each property will be done sometime between May 24 to June 4,   2010 with the exact days to be determined at a later date. You may call Carie Gainey (912) 220-9622, Committee Chair for further information.

If you wish to participate in this year’s Landscape Award Project, please contact Carie Gainey at Apartments.com

(912) 220-9622 for further details. There are three judging categories based on year built, which gives three major award winners.  To register, please fax your registration form to the Association Office at (912) 920-3207.
