Are you ready for another great year? Annually, the Savannah Apartment Association sponsors the Landscape Award Project. The Association hopes that all of the communities in our city will be inspired by the pride shown by Association members in the appearance of their properties. We encourage everyone to get involved. You can’t lose with this one. When we beautify our communities, everyone is a winner! The awards and certificates will be presented at the July Meeting at Savannah Station. You will want to be in that picture. You are planting for the season anyway, why not participate and win a certificate for your community.
Mr. Robert Nadel, Klean Karpets, and Mr. Ed Poenicke, Chatham County Extension Service, will handle the judging and scoring for all the apartment communities that participate. This is a great opportunity to beautify your community and get some professional advice concerning your property’s lawn and landscaping for free. The actual evaluation of each property will be done sometime between May 28 and June 8, 2007 with the exact days to be determined at a later date. You may call Carie Gainey (912) 220-9622, Committee Chair for further information.
